Azure Governance relies on tools like Azure Policy to enforce security, compliance, and operational standards across resources. When a policy state changes — for example, when a resource becomes non-compliant — Azure can emit events through Azure Event Grid.

These events trigger automated reactions such as alerts, remediation actions, or workflow executions using Azure Logic Apps or Functions. This reactive capability strengthens governance by ensuring policy violations are detected and addressed in real-time, reducing risk and maintaining compliance. It enables organizations to build dynamic, policy-driven environments that continuously adapt to changes and enforce governance consistently.
